Home Free provides care and support to some of the world’s most vulnerable children — those who are orphaned, abandoned or at high-risk of separation from their families.

Our Mission

We help children to grow up in families by by keeping families together and making families through kinship care, foster care and adoption. We transforming orphanages from on-site to family care so that more organizations can provide the support children need and the families they deserve.

Our Values

We believe that every child, no matter who they are or what their circumstances may be, needs the love and care of a family. We work as far as possible to provide family care to every child in need.

Long before the first orphanage was built in Uganda, children were cared for in families and communities. We support families and communities by building on their knowledge, strengths and individuals circumstances and needs.

We are changing systems today to impact children tomorrow. While we work to support children and families, we are working with local communities, government and organizations to challenges harmful practices and make positive change for generations to come.
