Joseph and his little brother John, are seven and nine-years-old. They have spent the last two years in a corrupt orphanage in Uganda, where they were beaten, and denied food.
The orphanage where they were living, the Rock of Joy Children’s Care, was closed by authorities this December for abusing children and for failing to provide the necessities of life.
Most of the children, 28 in total, were sent home to their families.
However, the directors of the orphanage continue to threaten the children and their parents, and are trying to force the children into a new institution, where the abuse will continue.
We are urgently asking for your help to protect the children from being re-institutionalized by the orphanage directors, by supporting them with their families, or in loving foster families.
We have already hired a social worker to assess the children, but we need your help to provide emergency food, medical care, and school fees so that the children have everything they need to grow up with their families, and never be placed in an orphanage again.
To Support Joseph and John, and the other children, please donate to our online campaign. Anything you give will go to supporting these children, and donations in any amount are appreciated:
